Below are the job description:

Must Have: 10+ years of only Oracle Experience. Good in Oracle Ops activities, Dataguard, GoldenGate, RAC, performance tuning, DBA team management, DR activities, RMAN, Export/Import.

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ

Experience: 5-7 years

Duration: 24 Months
Type of hire: Contract/ FTE

Experience:

Required Skills:

·         Installing Oracle software

·         Creating Oracle databases

·         Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels

·         Starting up and shutting down the database

·         Managing the storage structures of the database

·         Managing users and security

·         Managing database objects, such as tables, indexes, and views

·         Backing up the database and performing recovery operations when necessary

·         Good hands on Knowledge in unix as per the oracle requirements.

·         Monitoring the state of the database and taking preventive or corrective action as required

·         Monitoring and tuning database performance

·         Diagnosing and reporting critical errors to Oracle Support Services

·         Strong experience in 10g, 11g upgrade, patching in RAC and non-RAC environments.

·         Administering RAC databases – Handling Outages, Working with support, creating services,

·         Trouble shooting performance issues – DB, Instance, RAC & ASM level.

·         Performance Tuning – Query, Instance, Database, I/O, handing long running queries

·         Strong work experience in RAC, ASM.

·         Hands on experience in Oracle Golden gate and Oracle data guard – Physical Standby.

·         Work with Systems , Storage , Network & Backup teams in setting up environments or issue resolution.

·         Work experience on Oracle cloud control / Enterprise manager – with handing agent life cycle.

·         Ability to lead team technically in terms of database deliverables – SLA management, scheduled task management, outage management.
