Note:

The consultant will be testing a Java Web Based Application (Broker Master) as well as a Database Application (GES Data Mart)      

 

Please let me know how many years of experience you have with the following.

1)     Years of experience with QA engineer-- 9

2)     Years of experience with testing, including functional8 , structural , regression, load 4 and system testing 10

3)     QTP automated testing experience

4)     years in-depth SQL testing

5)     Experience working on financial applications 

6)     Experience with testing a Java Web Based Application 

 

Keys to the Job:

-  Five to ten plus years experience as a QA engineer and three plus years experience in leading QA practice across multiple projects
-  Expertise with all aspects of testing, including functional, structural, regression, load and system testing

- At least 2 years of QTP (or other) automated testing experience.

- At least 2 years in-depth SQL testing, including authoring SQL scripts.
-  Experience working on financial applications, especially high-performance transaction applications is a Must
-  Strong knowledge of Oracle database and SQL
-  Knowledge of the Agile development and project management processes
-  Ability to diagnose and identify performance and stability issues in large, complex applications
-  Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical applications
-  Bachelors degree required

Sr. Systems Engineer (QA)

 

  Job Description

The EDC group is seeking a senior QA engineer to be an integral member of the QA team responsible for testing and validating applications used by the Compliance and the Trading business groups.

 

Job Responsibilities

As a senior member of this team, the individual will have the following responsibilities:

-  Develop testing strategy based on the application requirements, leading to the analysis, design, documentation and execution of the test cases for the Compliance and the Corporate systems suite of applications.

-  Partner with the business analyst and the develop teams to review and understand the business requirements and the technical implementations.

-  Partner with Project Managers and the Technical Leads on estimates, statuses, identify issues and monitor risks.

-  Work as the QA lead and partner with the centralized QA team to align the project practices with the strategic QA direction of the enterprise.

-  Stay current with the QA best practices, methodologies and technologies, and continue to improve the QA processes across the team.
