Title: UAT Test Lead

 

Duration: 6 months +

 

Location: Springfield MA

 

We are looking for a JAVA and PL/SQL Web Developer to work on-site at one of our clients on a contract basis for 6 to 12 months.

 

Web Developer:

 

Day to day:

Perform software changes in JAVA and PL/SQL.

Participate in team meetings to develop an understanding of the web environment.

Make changes in related software specifications.

Learn and use the IT Change Management tool to enter software improvement requests(SIR) and software problem reports (SPR), and to track and coordinate their resolution.

 

Required Skill Sets:

Experience in JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL and SQL

Frameworks: struts2, spring, mybatis

Web Technologies: JSP, CSS, XML, JavaScript, prototype, jQuery

DB: Oracle 10g & up

App Servers: JBOSS, Oracle, Tomcat

IDE: Eclipse.

Version Control: CVS

Unit Testing: JUnit

 

Desired Skill Sets:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent Technical Skills: Five or more years of experience in application development using JAVA, PL/SQL and Struts.

Experience with UNIX operating system, services, and commands.

Experience working with data in relational databases.

Ability to write functional specifications and test plans.

Ability to work under demanding time constraints.
