Job Title: Oracle Manufacturing Systems Analyst
Location: Long Island, NY
Duration: 6-8 Months

Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for being partners with Functional business units (BU's) and operating departments on a project basis to provide business and systems support.

 

Major Functions:

 

§  Maintain a thorough understanding of the business and technical functions of assigned systems.

§  Define, recommend and implement solutions to customer problems and requests.

§  Assume responsibility for the maintenance and enhancement of assigned systems.

§  Prepare Statement of Works and project plans.

§  Manage major projects to the project plan.

§  Functional management of staff resources.

§  Hold regular status meetings and communicate project status.

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

§  Must have advanced knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL

§  Must have advanced knowledge and experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports (Version 11, 11i or R12)

§  Must have knowledge of TOAD, SQL*Loader and UNIX

§  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Education and Experience:

 

§  BS in Computer Science or equivalent

§  Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Applications 11, 11i or R12 (P/O, WIP, MRP, Standard Cost, Inventory, Engineering, BOM, PLM)
