Position      :  Citrix Admin
Location     :  Bentonville,Arkansas
Duration     :  12 + month contract

 

Must Haves:
Windows Server 08
Active Directory
Enterprise Admiring  Exp
XenApp 4.5 and later
Web Interface (versions around 5.0)
Citrix Access Gateway
Citrix EdgeSight 5.4

 

Plus: (In order of most important)
Citrix EdgeSight (ver. 5.x)
VMWare vSphere 4.x
Microsoft Operations Manager (not just SCOM)
NetScaler

 

Role:
This candidate needs to be a jack of all trades. Because they will be doing a little bit of everything. Deploying patching services. Tier 1 and 2 support. Which will involve troubleshooting and some break fix work
Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/XenServer architecture, engineering, features, and functionality at enterprise scale.
Experience leading or participating in Citrix implementations.
Experience working with a variety of business applications (e.g. such that they can assess application requirements and configure them for a Citrix environment).
Experience implementing availability, performance, and health monitors
Experience dealing with Citrix and Microsoft technical support and familiarity with resources they provide to aid in troubleshooting problems.
Additional Notes: Delivery of Apps, understand Citrix infrastructure and how to have apps run on it. High level Citrix admin. Monitoring multiple servers. Wal-Mart environment very slow.
