Title: Java Developer with Healthcare experience-Phone Hire

Duration: 18+ months

Location: Philadelphia, PA

 

Job Description:

 

This is a heads-down, hands-on development position. Experience with content management systems - especially Alfresco will also be a bonus. This is a position that will benefit from clinical experience - familiarity with clinical procedures, terminology, workflow and systems will be a significant advantage;

 

Description

Seeking a strong Java development lead interested in working with current and relevant technologies to deliver an enterprise class, cloud-based application for the health care space.

 

Skills and Experience

- 7-10 minimum years of hands-on development experience building customer-facing, high availability web applications

- Experience and familiarity with health care, Health Care information systems, EMR/EHR/CPOE preferred; additional points for experience working with HL7

- Expertise with object oriented software development in an iterative methodology

- Expertise with Content Management systems and concepts

- Experience with data transfer tools and techniques

- Proficiency in Java/J2EE

- Expertise with SpringMVC

- Demonstrated experience building and consuming RESTful services

- Experienced with data modeling techniques

- Some experience with NoSQL databases - specifically MongoDB

- Experience with Lucene/SOLR/elasticsearch

- Knowledge of application servers and web servers (NGINX and Jetty preferred)

- Familiarity with web security concepts

- Must love testing – think TDD, JUnit

- Experience with Maven

- Experienced with CI using Jenkins/Hudson

- Familiar with Git version management

- Excellent problem solving skills, communication skills and attention to detail

- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty

Hibernate *      4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 5+ Yrs.

Spring *      4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 5+ Yrs.
