Location: Somerset, NJ, USA
Experience: 10 – 12 Years
Skill set:
Primary - AS400, RPG LE, SYNON, COBOL,
Secondary – MQSeries, LANSA for iSeries, Lansa for Web
Prior experience in Application maintenance and support, exposure in Distribution operations functions (e.g. order management, inventory, logistics) or Finance systems(Invoicing, accounts receivable)
Job Description:
- Analyze business requirements and user stories and translate them into technical requirements.
- Associate need to develop/Support application during business hours to meet the project needs.
- Resolve the requests/issues notified during the support hours.
- Analyze technical requirements; identify impacted code; perform code changes.
- Clarify queries from development team and where necessary, engage with Customer ‘Subject Matter Experts’.
- Taking technical/functional design decisions in discussion with Customer stakeholders.
- Participate in triage calls and other daily operational calls.
- Build and manage system/application documentation.
- Take knowledge transition from incumbent supplier/customer.
- Manage the SLA.
- Responsible for co-ordination of service delivery for the related application/application groups.
- Participate in preparing weekly report and monthly report.
- Must have hands-on development experience in AS400 – RPG & SYNON for at least 5 Years.
