Senior Linux Engineer/ Admin- Client in Providence, RI- Long Term Contract- *Skype Interview Process*- 

Our clients Store Systems Technology team is seeking a talented Linux Engineer to assist with the design, implementation, and support of a large-scale environment. This person will be primarily responsible for a variety of engaging and challenging tasks aimed at driving store technology innovation forward.  Candidates need to have core Linux skills and experiences similar to a solutions architects. This is a mid-level role, candidate should have approximately 3 years of experience with Linux experience. Strong candidate would have 50% Administrative and 50% Engineering Experience. Candidates that may have a higher percentage of  Administrative Experience would still be acceptable. Linux Engineer Strong working knowledge of Linux - particularly SUSE and Ubuntu *Suse is more important than Ubuntu (Ubuntu is nice to have) **Linux Red Hat is acceptable Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PHP, and/or Python Keen understanding of Linux infrastructure services such as DNS, NFS, and HTTPD.
