Position: Oracle SOA suite and weblogic server expertise

Location: El Segundo, CA

Duration: 3+ Months

 

Job Responsibilities          

Building and supporting production servers, tracking tickets and meeting the SLAs.

Interact with Oracle Corporation for Technical Support on Weblogic and SOA

Monitoring of the Weblogic servers and troubleshooting environmental issues.

Taking Heap Dumps, thread dumps to troubleshoot application issues.

Monitoring server and application logs regularly for proactively identifying problems.

Performance tuning of the servers, configuring WorkManagers, tuning the Garbage collection parameters, thread pools etc.

WLST and shell scripting for automation of deployment scripts and weblogic server and machine level monitoring scripts

Using OEM as an enterprise tool to monitor and manage the SOA application components

 

Technical skills required  

Good knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, Weblogic server and Oracle service Bus.

Expertise in Oracle Webservice security Management (OWSM) and Security certificate configuration.

Good knowledge of WLST and shell scripting.

Expertise in Linux OS level activities.

Expertise in tuning the machine and server parameters for optimal performance.

Oracle SOA 11g installation, upgrade from 10g or 11g , patching

Exposure in SOA related monitoring metric setup, notification setups and configure OEM monitoring.

Good knowledge and understanding of SOA monitoring, interpreting, troubleshooting of application and server level issues.
