Very immediate need for a SQL Developer//Houston, TX//6 Months Contract
Job Title:- SQL Developer
Location:- Houston, TX.
Duration:- 6 Months Contract
Must Have Manufacturing Experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and support in-house applications in a deadline driven environment.
T/SQL development to support ETL designs.
Solid experience in ETL.
T/SQL analyze, find and fix problems to existing stored procedures.
Understanding of logical and physical database design/modeling.
Will need to extract data requirement from SME's (subject matter experts) and
implement through stored procedures and code.
The ability to read previous execution plans and tailor new requirements for ETL.
Design and configure stored procedures, constraints, indexes, cursors using established
T/SQL Server coding conventions.
The ability to work/query across many databases/servers .
Should possess the ability to successfully interact with all levels of internal and external
clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science/MIS and/or related work experience.
5 years experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 system architecture.
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment a plus.
Experience working with Functional and Technical Specs a plus.
