As a DB Developer, you will be a key member of a small team tasked with improving and writing new tools for our existing and development environments. Solid ability to work quickly and collaboratively is critical.
The ideal applicant will have at least 4-6 years of experience writing and maintaining stored procedures, extracting, transforming, matching and loading data from various external data sources; and performance tuning of MySQL databases.
Requirements include:
* 2+ years expertise with RDBMS, coding SQL scripts and stored procedures, replication processes, performance tuning, and maintaining MySQL-based databases.
* Some hands-on experience working with Oracle is desired
* Experience in importing/exporting/processing data via many formats, including XML.
* B.S. (or better) in Computer Science or related discipline.
* Experience with ETL tool development required, specific experience with Pervasive desired.
* Desired, but not required: traditional scripting/coding experience: Java, VB, C#
