 Our client wants a Mid to Senior Level Datastge/plsql developer

Skills: 50% Datastage/50% PLSQL.  Will consider mid-level to sr level

Strong communication skills is a must. 

 

Mid to Senior ETL Developer:

              Non-Technical skills:

                   Strong communication skills.

                   Discuss Business Requirements and track multiple projects.

                   Able to drive task to completion, with minimal support.

              Technical Skills:

                   Strong mix of both ETL Concepts, Oracle and Datastage     .

                       Strong Oracle experience, needs to be able to create tables, views, PL/SQL programs, and have a strong understanding of SQL (interaction with database).

 

Datastage EE is preferred which includes Parallel Extender (PX).

 

We are looking for talented database/ETL developers to support large-scale Oracle Operational and Warehouse databases. You will be working in a fast-pace, collaborative and innovative environment to enable our business with world class technology solutions.

 

More specifically, we are looking for database/ETL developers with:

•           4+ years of full life-cycle and iterative development

•           5+ years of development using Oracle and PL/SQL

•           Strong SQL and SQL optimization skills

•           Strong Mentoring skills

•           Excellent debugging, research and problem solving skills

•           Experience with SQL*Loader

•           Experience with Oracle 9i

•           Experience with Oracle External Tables

•           Strong UNIX knowledge

•           Experience with relational and/or dimensional logical and physical database design

•           Experience with a modeling tool

•           Experience with an ETL tool

•           Experience with object-oriented analysis and design using UML

•           Excellent organizational and planning skills

•           Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

•           Excellent verbal communication skills

•           Resolve and sense of urgency

 

The following is preferred:

•           Experience with Ascential DataStage

•           Experience with Case Studio or Erwin

•           Experience with Subversion

•           Experience in the banking industry
