Job Title - Software Engineer

Location - Fremont CA

Duration - 6+ Months

Job Description and Skill Required:

The software engineer will be responsible for maintenance and enhancements for existing internal systems here at (CRM, expenses, etc.). Successful candidates should possess solid core Java fundamentals and web application development skills. They should have a passion for software engineering and take pride in the quality of their code.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on enhancements for internal systems (all web-based).

• Work on features and bug fixes in multiple different code bases for different systems.

• Debugging for any defects and work with support on production-related issues that require engineering involvement.

• Interact with multiple functional groups to iron out requirements and follow up on issues: finance, support, QA, sales, etc.

Skills Requirements

• Enthusiastic entry-level candidates with stellar coding skills will be considered, however candidates with some web experience are preferred.

• Solid understanding of Java fundamentals.

• Understanding of Java 1.5+ features such as annotations, generics.

• Understanding of java servlets and java web applications in general.

• Perl skills/experience is a plus.
