Position : Web Designer

Location : Bethesda, MD

Duration : 6+ month contract

SUMMARY: 
 
Design a wide range of projects with internal clients for the interactive products. Design user experience, visual graphics and promotions per requests. Communicate designs and final products to client. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design graphics for new editorial and programming needs 
- Design layout/UI for web enhancements 
- Create pixel perfect visual PSDs for development 
- Communicate and present concepts, design and the final end product to the client accompanied by the Design Director 
- Other duties as needed, to include fulfilling internal team's art needs as directed by the Design Director 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- A hybrid UI/Visual Designer: advanced knowledge and understanding of web-based graphic design and layout. 
- Web planning and organizing skills. 
- Ability to apply web design principles and techniques to the creation and enhancement of integrated, complex web sites. 
- Ability to evaluate new and evolving website technologies. 
- Knowledge of a comprehensive range of web programming software and authoring languages. 
- Research and analytical skills. 
- Knowledge and understanding of internet operations and functionality, and of a wide range of internet programming and design tools. 
- Skill in computer graphics and layout. 
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. 
- Attention to detail. 
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders, prioritize business needs, and hold to deadlines. 
- Candidate must be versed in Mac OS, and be an expert level user of Adobe CS.

Position  : Web Portal Developer

Location : Richmond, VA

Duration : 6-month contract

Required Skills:

·         Seasoned Development professional with 6-8 years development exposure in J2EE based Web related technologies.

·         Hands on Exposure to JSF /Hibernate and integration experience with other applications

·         Hands-on design experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML).

·         Hands-on experience using development tools (e.g. WID,RAD,eclipse)

·         Strong Portal developer using Websphere Portal

·         Agile Development Experience

·         DB2/Oracle Experience

·         Should have strong object-oriented development skills.

·         Should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

·         Should have experience in heavy Transaction Processing and Transaction Management.

·         Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

Ideal candidates will have prior health-care, insurance and/or Medicaid related experience
