We have a need for the following:
- Java Architect/Developer – Must have strong OO experience and Agile development. The person
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6 months
No. of positions: 2
Rate: $60-65 per hr all inclusive
The client is searching for an individual who will function as a Software Architect. This individual should have around 5 years as a Architect. The Software Architect will be responsible for the applications architecture function within and across applications and should participate in senior management forums for the development and implementation of business strategies.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary, dedicated technology interface to the business/client from the onset of the project.
- Provide expertise on cross-application implications.
- Approve business requirements, estimation, functional specifications, testing strategy and other activities to ensure architectural alignment.
- Contribute to discussions about the development and implementation of business strategy by:
- Identifying and implementing cross-enterprise IT / application initiatives.
- Defining new service models that require business process redesign and application changes.
- Identifying and assessing opportunities with significant business process design and IT components.
- Maintain, communicate and develop the overall business and technology architectures of all applications.
- Focus on business and behavioral competencies.
- Closely work with business people to identify and negotiate opportunities to apply architecture standards and guidelines.
- Build relationships and establish trust and credibility.
