DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT
Description - ETL Designer/Developer (Datastage)
Location : Portland OR
Duration 12+ Months
Rate : $45/hr c2c (Pls submit resume with rate confirmation mail)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Ø A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, equivalent work experience of 10+ years overall IT or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
Ø 5+ years experience working with IBM Data Stage, and/or other ETL tools
Ø Ability to design and develop complex ETL mappings, sessions, workflows and identify areas of optimizations
Ø Ability to read and/or design logical and multi-dimensional data models
Ø Experience with ELT - Extract Load Transform - transformation work occurs after the data has been loaded into the target database in its raw format and is transformed and moved to tables
Ø Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2
Ø Experience with Oracle RDBMS 10g or 11g
Ø Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required
Ø Proven ability and desire to mentor/coach others in a team environment
Ø Experience with relational, multidimensional and OLAP techniques and technology
