Job Title: ASP.NET Developer
Location: Newark, DE (face-2-face required)
Duration: 3-6 months contract.
Desired Skills:
Someone with ASP.NET knowledge (event lifecycle, etc) with C# or VB.NET backend pages.
Ability to work in high pressure environment and communicate updates on a regular basis to management.
Willing to interact with Users on website features and upgrades to implement approved changes or bug fixes.
Ability to ask for help or clarification.
Problem solving skills.
Optional Skills:
An understanding of LINQ as of version 3.5
Use of Iron Speed 5.x or higher (can be taught via Version 8.0, not expected to understand all the nuances).
Subversion 1.6.x
Sql-92
T-Sql for Ms Sql 2k5 or higher
Purpose:
Upgrade ASP.NET websites built using Iron Speed versions pre-7.x to Iron Speed version 8.x.
Rewrite apps that require consolidation in either Iron Speed 8.0 or ASP.NET 3.5 via C# or VB.NET (C# preferred)
