Location: Columbus, OH (phone hire)

Role Summary/Purpose
The Oracle ERP DBA will serve as technical expert responsible for the design / implementation of data base technology administer standards for overall organization's relational database structure / architecture for ERP environment
Essential Responsibilities
Administers standards for overall organization's relational database structure/architecture
Maintain, tune, monitor and administer both development and production Oracle applications databases and application-tier technology components.
Collaborate with other Apps DBAs and Oracle Applications Architects to select and plan the deployment of new technical features for the various Oracle ERP environments at GE Healthcare
Researches database technology, determines business requirements, proposes changes, and develops migration and implementation plans, may execute projects based on these activities
Ensures that plans for database technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure

Qualifications/Requirements
BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline
4-6 years of Oracle DBA experience
Minimum of 4 years working with Oracle Apps 11i
Minimum of 2 years working with Oracle RAC on 10g/11g
