Title: Data Warehouse /Test Specialist

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Duration: 12+ months

 

This is titled Test Specialist, but it's far from a tester. Please let me know if you have anyone.

This is not a typical IM/ETL Test Specialist need. It is more of transactional system testing, Region/test data management & QA Analyst need.

 

The is a combo of Data Warehouse and Testing!

 

Taking Data and transforming (movement of Data) and run through a Business Rules Systems and then to the Data Warehouse.

 

Someone who builds environments and builds a test strategy vs. a tester.

 

What they will be doing ?

• Setting up testing environments and regions and supporting data
• Sr. level stagiest almost an arch level create a road map
• Testing approaches
• Part of a major program.
• Creating/developing strategies to include into the Master Plan of the development cycle
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization

 

Skills:

• Project Management skills
• Communication Skills
• Quality Assurance/Architect
• Must understand Data Warehousing Arch stand point
• Development or Testing in the Data Warehousing environment.
• Testing tools a plus only!
