Duration - 6+ Months

Required Skill Sets

Expert in Java (Multi-threading and Multi-core), concurrent data structures.

• Hands on Familiarity with Hadoop and distributed file systems.

• Agile development methodology

• Hands on with Hive, Pig, Avro, Flume, Scribe

• SQL and relational database programming

• Data modeling

• Working knowledge with NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, Voldemort, Mongo DB, Couch DB) and unstructured data

• Working knowledge of Map-Reduce.

• Familiarity with Dynamic languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl, Clojure) is a plus.

• Cluster and grid computing

• Cloud computing

• Designing and tuning high performance systems

• Data warehousing and business intelligence systems

• Mathematics, statistics, machine learning and data mining

• Complex Event Processing.

• Linux expertise
