Job Description:        Techno Functional Siebel Marketing Resource

Duration:                    6-months +

Start Date:                 ASAP

Rate:                           DOE

Location:                    Emeryville, CA 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         To define functional and technical requirements with end users and technical team.

·         Defined application structure and technical architecture must meet business objectives and ensure that the technical direction is consistent with long-term direction.

·         Providing technical leadership on CRM engagement, including serving as a resource to the project team  by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues.

·         Providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure that project objectives are met.

·         Work with other architects to ensure that the end to end solution work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.

·         Own Siebel CRM architecture and make sure all designs and development is according to Siebel and development best practices.

·         Review technical documentation to verify compliance with business requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines

·         Review application and technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality standards.

·         Communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other areas of the project.

·         Engage and deliver Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), trainings & demos. Where required, co-ordinate benchmarks, customer workshops etc.

 

Required Experience

·         Should have about 10-12 years of overall IT experience and about 6-8 years in Siebel.

·         Should be a " hands on" technical person in Siebel and well versed in application support.

·         Extensive Siebel Configuration and scripting experience, workflows, business services. Should have solid experience in Siebel 8.0 or higher.

·         Should have a thorough understanding of Siebel architecture and data model.

·         Should have the ability to design solutions, drive Proof of Concept, and suggest potential solution options.

·         Experienced in Siebel administration (server administration, component configuration & monitoring), email integration (inbound, outbound), CTI integration.

·         Very strong in trouble shooting core Siebel issues, root-cause analysis and resolution. o Very good understanding of OBIEE and CRM on Demand.

·         Should be strong in communication and follow-up of deliverables with the Business team.

·         Experience in Java based application support, though not mandatory.

·         Good understanding of Sales and Marketing  applications will be an advantage.
