Senior Project Manager with PMI Certification
Duration : 12 month
Position : Santa Clara, CA

The position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project
Manager.
• This position manages a team of programmers, analysts and other
technical resources who scope, plan, develop and deliver large IT
projects or multiple smaller IT projects. This position is
responsible for managing complex projects which translate business
objectives and client requirements into design documents, models and
workable plans to meet business needs with high quality. The role
calls for a senior manager with 6+ years management experience drawing
resources from a matrix oriented resource pool of business analysts
and technicians. PMI certification a must.

• Functional areas may include installations and upgrades of Oracle
Applications, Clarify CRM, Siebel CRM, workflow and integration of
application systems or other core system interfaces, package
implementations and upgrades, portal work and B2B business. The
project manager should excel at project management: scoping, risk and
issue management, budgeting, tracking to critical path and project
plans, and be adept at managing within a standard development
lifecycle, utilizing quality management and control.

• The individual is responsible for project planning, project team
organization and role definition, as well as coaching and feedback for
team members. This position is likely to manage a project structure
that utilizes lead roles with work teams assigned to multiple project
phases.

• This person also collects, reviews and analyzes metrics regarding
project deliverables, customer satisfaction and global utilization.
This position has frequent contact with business stakeholders,
business strategists, resource managers, and managerial peers, the
entire technical team, consultants, and may also deal with independent
software vendors.
Reports to: Director of Project Management
Supervises: Business and Systems Analysts, Technical Professionals,
junior to senior level on project assignments.
