Job Title: SQL DBA (face-2-face required)
Duration: 8+ month contract
Location: Chadds Ford, PA
Rate : $48/hr on C2C
Requirement
Support multiple project teams in production support, database development and implementation of data-driven applications, data stores, and interfaces. Lead and support infrastructure related projects.
Develop and implement database strategies for security, backup, recovery, and disaster resilience of critical production data as dictated by business requirements.
Develop, document, and maintain database code utilizing T-SQL and PL/SQL under multiple database technology platforms: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2000, Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i, and Oracle 10g, supporting other development staff.
Develop and suggest strategies for architecting data interfaces and transformations between disparate systems.
Convert business requirements into logical and physical database designs and models.
Plan, architect, and implement improvements to backend infrastructure as it relates to database security, performance, and availability.
Diagnose and correct any database environment problems, and report on database performance.
Create, upgrade and maintain written documentation and modify existing databases (stored procedures, triggers, views) to enhance database system performance.
Lead and direct the work of coworkers, provide training, mentoring, and foster professional growth.
Lead various infrastructure projects outside the scope of database administration.
