Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+months
Rate: $45/hr on inclusive.
To achieve streamlining, needs to hire IT developer(s) to design, code and test these new application in the relevant IT systems. Specifically, the contractor will provide client with technical expertise to:
•Develop a Voucher Reassessment application that will handle eligibility, placement and billing for contract providers serving children with vouchers
•Design and develop a data model that will integrate with existing applications
•Participate in the design of the user interface (UI) maintaining the look and feel of existing related applications
•Test and debugging as part of the development life cycle
•Support user training
•Other related work as assigned

The consultant staff must be able to the following:
•Applies technical skill and expertise to business problems that require comprehension of business complexities and technology capabilities.
•Develops and design web based applications that support internal/external stakeholder's needs.
•Documents technical design, flowcharts and database diagrams for newly developed applications.
•Serves as a resource in the design and implementation of new applications or application integration plans.
•Adheres to code guidelines and governance.
•Advice and develop efficient query processing. This implies determining the number and order of query alternatives, the cost of selected functions, the statistics of stored data and the join order and strategies between relations, size and access strategies.
•Design and develop frameworks for handling and expressing user requests including the design of application interfaces as part of the dashboards
•Integrate and optimize existing query processing as part of newly developed dashboards
•Understand and document the business rules, and objectives of custom reporting requirements
•Evaluate database alternatives and recommend solutions for enterprise applications.
•Perform work with minimal direction
•Communicate project status to developers and manager
•Develop solutions to complex database scenarios
•Be proactive and offer standardize solutions to common requests
