Job Description:
As an interaction designer on our team, you will have the opportunity to shape and prototype the user experience for our service. We're looking for someone who has a balance of great design skills and great prototyping skills to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
As an interaction designer on our team, you will have the opportunity to shape and prototype the user experience for our service. We're looking for someone who has a balance of great design skills and great prototyping skills to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
Specific attributes include:
• 2-5 years of interactive design experience. Your portfolio must include examples of live sites and/or digital work that has gone to market, preferably with examples of web-based applications.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
• Robust IA skills, including development of wireframes and flow diagrams.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Expert knowledge of standard design and prototyping tools, from Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign) to Flash to HTML.
• Competency in front-end development (at minimum, CSS, HTML, jQuery); knowledge of Ruby on Rails a plus
