I really need candidates for this position that are strong with Cisco, Cisco Call Manager, VOIP, ect. They need to be 60% to 70% Cisco and 30% to 40% VOIP. They need to be very Senior Level!!

Technical Skills Required:

·         Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, EIGRP and OSPF

·         Advanced knowledge of Cisco Routers and switch concepts and commands

·         Experience working in mission-critical environment

·         Advanced knowledge with installation, configuration and support of Cisco and 3Com Routers and Switches.

·         Advanced knowledge working with WAN and LAN Architectures and equipment. (Ethernet Cabling, Frame Relay, Networking Essentials)

·         Advanced knowledge in Visio, Excel and Word, as well as Windows O/S.

·         Advanced experience with UNIX O/S and Unix Scripting

·         Advanced experience with Network Management applications such as: HP Openview and Cisco Works

·         Strong knowledge of large connectivity (T3, OC3, OC12, OC48) ATM

·         Strong knowledge of Spanning tree and VLANS

·         Strong knowledge with EIGRP and BGP routing protocols

·         Strong knowledge with Internet connectivity, Firewalls, Filtering and VPN technology

·         Advanced knowledge with Packet sniffers, and trace analysis

·         Advanced knowledge of High-end routers and switches such as 6000 series Cisco switches and 7000 series Cisco Routers

 

Minimal Skills Required:

·         Proven knowledge/competency in the above Technical Skills requirements.  Any technical certifications (CCNA) in one or more of those skills is desired

·         CCNE desired but not required

·         Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent)

·         Minimum 5 years full-time experience in a large network environment with a minimum of 2 years being in design and analysis of Networking solutions

·         Strong knowledge of Project Management concepts and tools

·         Must be a self-starter and be able to work well independently and in a team
