Position: Cobol/Mainframe Developer

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 1 Year

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

 

1) Significant experience Cobol programming

2) Experience in using Oracle database and pro-Cobol

3) Experience in writing SQL statements

4) Experience in writing Unix shell scripts

5) Experience in tuning SQL statements and system performance

6) Experience in supporting 24X7 operations

7) Experience of SDLC environment

8) Design experience of large scale applications

9) Good analytical skills

10) Experience in gathering system requirements

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

1) Prior HHS experience

2) Excellent troubleshooting abilities

3) Good communication and documentation skills

3) Works well under own initiative.

4) Ability to recommend solutions / designs.
