Top skills:

1.       Solid background in testing.

2.       Able to write automation, test plans, cases, load scripts and do platform testing.

3.       Solid knowledge of Java, C or C++

4.       Worked with large scale consumer based websites.

5.       Working knowledge of spring and hibernate.

6.       Solid background in SQL.

 

Key Accountabilities % of Time

1. Write and execute tests, analyze and investigate the results, work with developers and Program Managers to isolate problems and drive them to resolution 50%

2. Develop and execute test automation 40%

3. Planning and reporting 10%

 

Education BS/BA in Computer Science or related field

Experience 4+ years of experience as an SDET

Proficiency in an object oriented programming language a plus

Ability to programmatically test any software product and develop automation for it

Experience testing on Windows and OSX

Deep technical familiarity with various media playback and management software
