Needs someone that has worked on iPhone apps that communicate to a device and post results to the web.  Web development not require but would be a plus.

Role: Iphone Developer 

Location: Newton MA

 

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative software using industry best practices for software design and development in OSX / Objective-C environment
• Create mobile-based tools, utilities, and APIs in response to product requirements and functional specifications
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the architecture of our mobile applications
• Participate in functional and technical specifications development, software architecture review and maintenance, code design and reviews
• Write and execute unit tests

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, an engineering discipline, or comparable industry experience in mobile and/or web development
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in hands-on mobile development for iPhone
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development
• Good understanding of Objective-C and the iOS platform.
• Must have written at least one application that is available on the iOS App Store.
• Experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL databases, HTML/CSS, AJAX, XML, and PHP, Python
• Experience developing applications with client-server communications.
• Experience with a structured software development process (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)
• Experience with source control systems (e.g. Subversion)
• Bluetooth experience is a plus
• Experience with Android development a plus
• Experience with Web Development (J2EE, Tomcat) a plus

Ideal Qualities

• Software generalist - comfortable with a variety of software technologies and platforms
• Goal-oriented self starter; able to work independently
