Microsoft SharePoint Architect/Developer

 

Location:  Twin Cities

Position Type: (Contract, Contract to Hire)

Start Date: December 1, 2011

Duration: 6-12 months

 

Project Description:

Serve as a high-level technical expert in the architecture, design, development, testing & support of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. Specialize in Microsoft development technologies but have an adaptable skillset.

 

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, develop and debug applications in various software languages.

Leverage creativity & drive innovation.

Create technology Proof of Concept (POC).

Interact directly with Toro businesses leaders to create high value solutions.

Lead software development teams utilizing appropriate execution methodologies (Agile, RUP, etc.).

Coordinate software testing and quality assurance with QA Teams.

Offer technical expertise and guidance to entire project/product team.

Drive process & product improvements to aspire to higher productivity and quality levels.

Collaborate directly with business leaders and customers to optimize business opportunities with technology applications.

 

Qualifications:

• BS and 10+ years of software development, programming and analytical experience

• 4 years of experience in a software development team leadership role

• Microsoft Software Technologies – Design U& Development experience

• Visual Studio 2010 & .NET 4.0 – C#, ASP.NET, WCF

• SharePoint 2007/2010

• SQL Server 2008

• Basic SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.

• BizTalk Server (preferred)

• Team Foundation Server 2010

• Experience with application testing principles & frameworks

• Application Integration Design Experience

• Web Services – XML, SOAP, WSDL
