IT Solutions Lead: The Country Enablement (CE) initiative is Cisco's response to the business demand for strategic selling capabilities in emerging countries. The initiative is focused on building a legal entity / buy-sell structure to support the next decade of global growth. This change has major impacts to many capabilities and 17+ functions across Cisco, including QTC, Finance, Tax, Sales, IT, Legal, and Manufacturing, and must be managed cross-functionally. IT Solutions lead will manage/lead a team of IT solution architects for multiple CE releases. Responsibilities include following:

 

+ Define IT architecture strategy for CE. Lead Architecture roadmap discussions on creating the foundational capabilities for a new R12 based platform

 

+ Define high-level IT architecture for each CE release

 

+ Engage with executive stakeholders to manage expectations and provide status

 

+ Lead & manage the work of IT Architects who are experts in functional IT domains

 

+ Structure the engagement model with LSS, Functional IT teams and CE Pillars

 

+ Provide definition for team structure and roles

 

+ Act as Point of escalation for IT architecture and solution issues

 

+ Manage relationships and help resolve issues with business functional teams.

 

+ Lead/manage IT scope definition by leading/facilitating deep dive session and workshops in assigned areas

 

+ Support release efforts which include IT Design, Functional Specification document etc.
