Number of Openings: 1

Tool Sets: (Skills listed in bold are required)
• Programming Languages: Java ( minimum of 3 years of hands-on
development experience)
• Geocoding and Address Validation/Standardization Analysis with
Pitney Bowes, Informatica Data Quality or a similar product
• General understanding of the address standardization on a per
country basis
• Java Frameworks: JSF, JDBC, J2EE and associated components (EJB),
JMS
• RDBMS: Oracle 10g / 9i
• Operation Systems: Linux
• Version Control Tools: CVS, Subversion
• Scripting Languages: ANT, MAVEN
• Software Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile
Work Products:
• Documentation summarizing address standardization, validation and
geocoding results for each country implemented.
Day to Day Activities:
• Using a set of sample shipment and/or delivery addresses for
specific countries, write Java code to perform address validation and
standardization using Pitney Bowes for (Canada & U.S) and Informatica
(other countries) Data Quality Software.

• Using a set of sample shipment and/or delivery addresses for
specific countries, write Java code to geocode the addresses for
international countries using ESRI geocoding software. May also
geocode U.S and Canada addresses using Pitney Bowes software.
