Position : Sharepoint Designer
Location : Ft Lauderdale,FL
Duration : 3 month contract w/ extensions

Must Haves
5-8+ years of proven SharePoint 2007/2010 design experience.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.
Proven, strong interactive and relationship building skills with business users
Experience in documenting requirements & technical specifications
Strong at documenting standards and leading other designers
Project management expertise.
Strong planning and organizational skills
Team player
The Designer should have a working knowledge of SharePoint 2007/2010 functionality at an advanced level in addition to 5+ years of experience with:
SharePoint designer
InfoPath
HTML
jQuery and JavaScript
CSS and site templates
List templates
Master Pages
SharePoint object model of web application connections
Workflows
Custom web parts
User administration
XML experience including XSD, XSLT and CAML
Packaging Content types (Master pages, page layouts, etc.) in to solutions that can be deployed and reused as site features
Experience creating data views in SharePoint designer.

Role: This person will be responsible for the layout, look and feel of SharePoint sites. The SharePoint Developer implements and then this person is the "artist" responsible for ensuring that the site has a "cool look and feel" and necessary functionality. The SharePoint Designer will be responsible for everything from requirements gathering to production release. Developing standards and guidelines for other designers to use as well as training business users. They will assist with the design of various SharePoint home pages, layouts, master pages/templates, etc. This individual would also be responsible for assisting with the governance of SharePoint designs to ensure they align with Corporate branding standards as laid out by our Marketing Communications team as well as collaborating with various SharePoint designers/developers across the organization to ensure commonality and alignment of SharePoint sites
