Senior Cognos Developer

Relevant Experience (Yrs)

:

6+ Years of IT;  4+ as Cognos developer

Technical/Functional Skills

:

·         4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence reporting and data modeling

·         Design and development experience in BI applications and Data modeling, Dashboards and Reporting solutions using Cognos 8.x Suite

·         Experience in dimensional data modeling using Cognos Framework manager

·         Experience in design and development of Dashboards and dimensional Reporting  using Report Studio and  Analysis Studio

·         Work with technical teams (ETL, DW, BI Dev) in understanding of  BI applications and requirements

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively document and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization

·         Experience in Oracle 10/11, Proficiency in PL/SQL

·         Excellent written and verbal skills are requisite

Experience Required

Must have extensive 4+ years of hands on experience in design, development, implementation and complete familiarity with Cognos 8.x or more recent versions of Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio including dimensional data modeling using Framework Manager. Expertise in Dashboards and report development using Cognos 8.x tools. Experience in database views and PL/SQL skills.
