Need : QA  with excellent SQL skills

Will have to take a test

·         8 years experience in software quality assurance, manual testing.

·         QA/Test, SQL, write detailed test cases, have performed as the single QA person on a team

·         Organization in the DFW area is looking for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, applicant will be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance on assigned projects. This includes not only software "testing" but ensuring the overall quality of project deliverables including but not limited to requirements documents, use cases, UX documents, architecture documents.

·         Much preferred if they have had some security testing on web apps (i.e. this is an SSO gateway), so role-based testing etc.  Obviously, they need to have good work ethic and follow instructions.  Doesn't need automation or load testing experience, just manual testing.

·         Need them pretty quickly.  After interviewing I need to be convinced they would be strong enough to defend quality, being the only QA on the project and KNOW they are writing good test cases

Position Objectives:

Develop test plans, test strategy, test suites and defect/coverage analysis reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Analyze and approve project documentation pertaining to quality assurance functions.

·         Enforce implementation of organizations SDLC processes across teams.

·         Attend project status meetings including but not limited to those pertaining to requirements gathering, project scheduling, defect triage, lessons learned etc.

·         Develop test plans, test strategy, test suites and defect/coverage analysis reporting.

·         Submit and validate defects. Participate in defect triage and serve as QA representative in recommending defect resolution

·         Sign-off on project deliverables prior to deployment

·         Serve as subject matter expert for quality assurance team on assigned product areas.

Preferred:

Able to perform functional Automation using QTP.

Able to perform performance and Load Testing using LoadRunner for future.+
