Job Title:  SQL BI Developer (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)

Location:  Seattle, WA

Visa status: Citizens only

Rate: Open

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for development of Reports using SSRS, Developing Cubes using SSAS and populating the Warehouse data using SSIS. The person will be responsible for design, implementation and enhancement of ETL jobs.

 

Responsibility includes fine tuning the Cubes for optimal performance and Integrating SSIS, SSRS and SSAS with Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•             Development with SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio using SSRS and SSAS  

•             Proven experience in design and development of Data Warehouses, Cubes and Reports.

•             Programming with Transact SQL and DTS/SSIS packages

•             Administration of SQL 2005 and 2008, including the Database Engine, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration Services;

•             Integrating the Reports/KPIs/Dashboards etc. with MOSS.

•             Understand what functionality is available as well as what has already been implemented. Advise on new solutions for SQL and the relevant reporting infrastructure.

•             Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.

 

Skill Set

 

Primary

•             Expertise in developing and designing Cubes using SSAS and Reports using SSRS

•             Strong Experience in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio

•             Experience with integration of SSRS/SSAS Integration with WSS/MOSS

•             Experience with Microsoft SSAS/SSRS/SSIS on MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008.

•             Excellent communication & documentation skills;

•             Knowledge of the .Net framework for use with SQL Server 2005;

•             Familiarity with current infrastructure architecture and Windows Server environment.

•             Strong experience in all phases of the system development lifecycle including planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and support

•             Adept at implementing IT best practices and adhering to methodology. 

•             Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be well organized.

•             Must have strong problem solving skills.

 

Additional

•             DBA Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
