Hi,

We have a very urgent requirement as SQL DBA for CA. Please send me the resume ASAP.

Duration - 3 months +

Location – El Segundo, CA

Rate - $45-50

SQL DBA

Minimum 6+ years of experience

Creation and Maintenance of Database Instances.

Production Support

Execution of backup/recovery procedures

Database Refresh

Event, database performance and availability monitoring.

24x7 support including scheduled and emergency night and weekend work

Follow the IT service management guideline while working with tools like ‘remedy’

Preparedness to work in Shifts in rotation.

Logical and Physical database design and Implementation

SQL 2000/2005/2008 – Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering

SQL Server 2000 /2005 database administration experience. Experience in other version also preferred.

Install, configuring, applying patches to SQL server

Backup and restore of databases.

Performance tuning experience.

Experience in DTS Packages

Good experience in Replication, Log shipping and Clustering

Logical and Physical database design and Implementation

Application DBA Exposure

Development support/ debugging procedures

MSSQL DBA Certification a plus

Win NT/2000/2003 administration experience is desired.

Good Oral and Written communication skills
