Title: Cognos Developer(mid-level)
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Job description:
Will work on the projects team within Cognos team for internal financial and metrics reporting.
· As such, must have experience in designing and developing new reports from scratch – NOT SUPPORTING/ ALTERING EXISTING REPORTS
Technical:
Expert knowledge in Framework Manager and Report Studio
Expert knowledge in ODBC and OLAP sources for Cognos Reporting
Knowledge using TM1 is a strong plus, but not required
Expert knowledge in Cognos Report Bursting
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solution for complex issues
Demonstrated ability to tune reports for optimal performance
Experience working with an offshore delivery team – REVIEW DESIGNS FROM THE OFFSHORE TEAM
Demonstrates an ability to learn business processes for specific client
Experience managing deliverables end-to-end and reporting status to management
Follows SDLC process
Experience analyzing requirements
