Position :  J2EE Developers
Location : Pittsburgh, PA  
Status:  H1B is allowed, only if you are the H1 Visa holder
Interview process:  Tech Screen, Phone Screen and if selected final will be F2F at client site.

Local candidates are preferred.  


SKILLS:

    * 2-5+ years of Web application design and development using Java / J2EE technologies
    * 2-4+ years of experience working with JSP/Servlets
    * Solid knowledge of Struts
    * Familiarity with DB Modeling
    * Prior experience working with Weblogic or WebSphere Application Server  
    * Familiarity with IceFaces and Dojo is a PLUS
    * Excellent communications skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Perform and support environment builds/checkout including but not limited to:

                       o Automated build and deployments

                       o Support and testing of virtual environments

                       o Building out and testing new PEGA PRPC environments.

                       o Support on-call rotation

    * Develop troubleshoot and support JAVA programs and utilities.
    * Utilize applicable application programming language and programming tools.
    * Utilize database modeling.
    * Develop and support business applications.
    * Develop relationships and integrate activities with other systems departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
    * Collect and analyze business and system requirements for medium to large projects.
    * Identify conflicting system integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
    * Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and systems colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
    * Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise and enhance procedures to solve business problems of a complex to highly complex nature.
    *  Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and design, code, test, debug and document programs.
    * Lead small to medium projects or regularly coach other project members to ensure applications are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
    * Monitor and report to management the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
