The Tibco iProcess/Business Works Developer will support, maintain, and develop the Group iProcess/Business Works applications.  This person will be responsible for making enhancements to existing iProcess/Business Works applications and to develop new iProcess/Business Works Applications and Processes. 

 

This person will need to have in-depth development experience with the iProcess Tool and Tibco Business Works. The person should have in depth knowledge of SOA architecture and experience in Business Works implementation.  

 

The person will need to interact with many team members and other ancillary team members from other parts of IT and with the Business.

 

This person will be the expert for all iProcess/Business Works Development and ensure that the system is addressing the business needs and is maintainable and scalable to address current and future needs

 

Responsibilities:

Project Execution:  Executes to approved project plans and specifications. Understands the iProcess toolset and implements a proper technical design and execution of the application during coding. Maintains and supports installed applications. Leads with the definition of detailed design specifications for iProcess components.

Project Development:  Provides into the development of project plans to satisfy business needs.  Will develop artifacts for this design and development of the iProcess components.

 

Project Communication:  Ability to communicate with fellow programmers and their technical lead.  The person will be required to interact with Business Analysts and when doing so will need to converse with the Business Analysts and understand the business flows.  The person will also be required to communicate other technical personnel to ensure that they have the proper support to accomplish their job.  Keeps responsible Project Manager informed of project progress and issues at all times. Communicates and advances the iProcess functionalities that will solve business needs.

 

Technical Leadership:  The person will be the iProcess expert and will be required to take the lead with the design and development of the iProcess technology for Guardian Group projects

 

 

Qualifications:

BA/BS in business, computer science, or engineering related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ Years of experience developing iProcess solutions

3+ Years of experience developing Business Works solutions

5 + years of experience working in an IT environment.

Demonstrated ability to solve issues and execute to a plan

 

Technical:  Has working knowledge of IT functions and services.  In-depth understanding of the iProcess Engine and Business Works technologies. 

 

Business:  Acts as an IT partner in the business/IT planning process.  Maintains an understanding of business processes.  Is able to anticipate provide technical solutions to business needs

 

 

Competencies: 

·         Tibco iProcess Engine

·         Business Works

·         Integration of iProcess with external databases

·         Integration of iProcess with Business Works.

·         Ability to implement process maps and interfaces to an external rules engine

·         Unix, AIX

·         XML / XSL

·         Java

·         Ability to translate business needs into a technical solution 

·         Ability to work with both functional and technical team members

·         Able to present solutions at a code walk through and design reviews

·         SQL

·         Experience with systems analysis and design using OO techniques
