Title: Oracle/ETL Developer with OWB experience

Location: Orlando FL

Duration: 1 + year with possible extensions

Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based, custom software development and IT staffing firm, seeks a skilled Oracle OWB/ETL Developer for a long-term project based in Orlando, FL.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         5+ years enterprise experience with detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and environments, and data structures. Oracle Warehouse Builder experience ETL experience required.

·         1+ years' experience with relational and star schema data modeling concepts.

·         Experience in relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL.

·         Demonstrated success working with and through people in establishing goals, objectives and action plans to produce expected results.

·         Leadership skills to indirectly facilitate cross-functional teams towards common solutions, without direct management control over those teams or resources.

·         Demonstrated communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills in support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of data warehousing technical components (e.g. ETL, Data Model). Knowledge of overall data warehouse architecture and designs, star schemas, dimensional models, and data marts. Ability to develop efficient, flexible, extensible, and scalable complex ETL mappings. Engages in collaborative development following standards and best practices. Skilled using PL/SQL, SQL Developer, and Toad.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Work with the Enterprise Data Architect and the Senior Data Warehouse Architect to gather requirements for work assigned.

·         Ability to analyze requirements and utilize best technical approach to meet requirements of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures that support Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

·         Ability to work as a team player to achieve results. Must be able to build positive working relationships with ETL developers, and BI developers.

·         Responsible for the development of ETL processes for all projects assigned.

·         Provides input and recommendations on technical issues to the project manager

·         Participates in testing of the data design, tool design, and data extracts/transforms.
