We are looking for a QA Lead who has experience testing data.
Manual and automated testing environment
Create test plans and develop test approaches
Ensuring data quality and data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audit and/or data validation.
Performs setup and verification of test data, executes test scripts, and verifies results.
Documentation/Communication of Quality Issues
Responsible for all aspects of data security
Full Description:
1. Test Definition
Participate in the development of overall quality strategy.
Works with business teams to define quality needs.
Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
Creates effective test plans and approaches.
Responsible for researching, developing and implementing testing methods and procedures.
Execute data quality test plans.
Responsible for ensuring that the testing is completed on time and meets all functional requirements as defined during the test definition process.
Performs setup and verification of test data, executes test scripts, and verifies results.
Maintains test library
2. Data Quality
Ensure on-going data quality through pro-actively monitoring alerts and key data variables.
Ensures that quality methods and procedures are executed.
Analyze and monitor data and content quality performance and trends by developing reporting requirements, reviewing standard and ad hoc reporting and evaluating existing processes through the use of a variety of tools including Microsoft Excel and Visio; communicate analysis results to internal and external partners verbally and in writing including using Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
Troubleshoots basic problems.
Verifies data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audit and/or data validation.
Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse to ensure accuracy.
Develops data/information quality metrics.
Responsible for industry trend awareness, risks on business use, and privacy concerns on data.
Performs post-implementation data validation.
Responsible for handling exceptions and upholding guidelines for what's acceptable and what isn't.
Establish and maintain quality controls and parameters.
Develops quality assurance processes early in the process/development and extends to source systems.
Recommends methods to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability of information for the business, while tying back to enterprise-wide expectations.
Provides business data expertise on technology projects
Recommends ways to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise.
Verifies data integrity.
Adds specifics around responsibilities for quality audits, pro-active monitoring against business-defined rules/terminology/hierarchy. • Recommends ways to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise.

3. Documentation/Communication of Quality Issues

Execute best practices to ensure that business definitions of data are created and maintained for data.

4. Responsible for all aspects of data security
Partners with the business to gather security requirements.
Conducts or oversees day-to-day review of business-specific security alerts, monitoring activity for trends.
Identifies variances in data security and ensures mitigation of related risks.
Builds and maintains understanding of emerging regulatory issues to develop internal and external checks and controls. Works toward proper governance, security, privacy and quality of information assets.
