Job Title: SharePoint Project Lead

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 12 Months

Experience:  Expert 5+

 Main Duties:

-Oversight of a contracted team for product development, issue tracking, overall coordination
-Organize and insure appropriate participation for all events
-Coordinate IT activities with Business Unit via the overall Program manager
-Continued communication with day-to-day IT operation lead, reviewing strategy and timelines 

General duties:
-Meets strategic goals by:
Understanding strategic direction, goals and previously determined milestones.
Helps set additional milestones.
Validates and tracks all project activity
Actively oversees all activity, forecasting additional requirements and escalation points.
Meets regularly with department manager to review progress and risks.
-Meets operational goals by:
Resolving problems which arise.
Assure all documentation and audit requirements are met, including following appropriate SDLC and IPLC procedures.
Track budget, plan and resources
-Meets financial objectives by:
Forecasting and tracking the budget and resources on a regular basis
Analyzing variances and reviewing with department manager 
Preparing and reviewing options with manager when financial goals are challenged.
-Enhances department and organization reputation by:
Accepting ownership for issues and risks which are identified; seeing through to resolution
Understanding challenges, lessons learned along the way and opportunities for improvement and making suggestions to manager without delay.

Skills/Qualifications:
-Highly experienced professional in leading SharePoint Portal development
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Self-starter who can be flexible when challenged with changing priorities
-Understands all aspects of project management and is able to creatively oversee all activities, helping to lead and facilitate resolution
-Able to report and respond to various levels of management
-SharePoint 2010

Nice to have:
-Working knowledge of App and Web-App development is a plus
-Management experience is a plus
-Project management and methods are a definite plus.
