IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules Architect

Looking for an experienced IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules Architect who understands Enterprise Business Rules environment. Experience in Healthcare domain is plus.

Candidate must be able to execute the strategy by working with the customers while providing oversight to ensure activities are progressing and meeting goals.

Work location:  Baltimore, MD

Start Date: 09/15/2012

Project Duration:  long term (about 5 years)

Job responsibilities:

·         Design and develop high quality decision management systems using BRMS IBM ILOG JRules.

·         Design and develop business object models.

·         Standardize language by creating a business vocabulary and glossary.

·         Develop enterprise decision management strategy and roadmap.

·         Develop the life cycle management of the application pertaining to the business rules.

·         Work with team and the other architects to determine the interfaces between rule engine and the rest of the system.

·         Select proper rule execution algorithms to meet functional and performance requirements.

·         Design and develop rule authoring user interface which allows business users to manage rules directly.

·         Gather other business requirements and transform them into an appropriate design

·         Build, test and maintain internally developed applications

Required Skills:

·         Very strong experience with IBM ILOG JRules 7.x.

·         Knowledge of WODM 7.5 and 8.0 is a plus

·         Proficiency in Java, XML, and SQL.

·         Experience with handling huge amount of data.

·         Working with the customers and understand how to assist customers in defining an appropriate business vocabulary.

·         High proficiency with software development skills, familiar with different software development methods.

·         Requires about10 years of total industry experience and bout 5 years of JRules experience.

·         Strong leadership, multi-tasking and collaboration skills • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

·         Ability to assess benefit versus risk of implementing technologies

·         Expertise in architecture patterns and best practices

·         Expertise in enterprise architecture, Solution architecture

·         Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building

·          Experience leading large group meetings/information gathering sessions with senior-level executives and excellent written and oral communication skills

·         SOA- Experience with service-oriented architectures and XML
