Title: SAP-Business Objects Developers (Universe, WebI and Xcelsius)

Duration: 8 – 10+ months

Location: Haven, CT

Job Description:

The SAP Business Objects Solution Analyst is responsible for developing dashboards and reports according to business process needs in an existing SAP Business Objects XI 3.x environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain an understanding of business scope.

Design and develop solutions and enhancements according to business user requirements.

Develop solutions using the Business Objects tools including Xcelsius, Webi, and Crystal Reports.

Develop and maintain supporting documentation around each solution.

Continually strive to enhance or improve business system processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices and ongoing training.

Support of the Business Objects environment.

Participate in strategy and implementation of new Business Objects tools.

Participate in the upgrade of Business Objects 4.x

Understanding of Oil & Gas concepts

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in an Information Technology related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience with Business Objects suite of toolset with SAP Business Warehouse.

Additional business intelligence experience preferred.

Intermediate knowledge of Business Objects practices, BOBJ universe development, and BEX query development

Knowledge of various SAP solutions and modules (FI-CO, JVA, PRA, PS, MM, PM, AA)
