Job Title: : Oracle DBA
Location : Ames, Iowa
Duration: : 6 month contract
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
Minimum of 5 years of Oracle database administration, the majority of which should be in database administration in a large scale operation Required 5 Years
Strong SQL Programming, preferably Oracle with the ability to write complex SQL queries Required 5 Years
Oracle Performance Tuning Experience Required 3 Years
Experience working in secure enterprise database environments Required 3 Years
Experience with RMAN Required 3 Years
Experience performing a full restore to an Oracle database from tape Required 3 Years
Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle Required 3 Years
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with a team Required 3 Years
Ability to take initiative and work without supervision Required 3 Years
Experience with Oracle Database in Windows, Oracle in a Linux environment a plus Highly desired 3 Years
Experience with Oracle Application Server (10g) and Oracle Weblogic (11g) and SSO
