Job Title: SYBASE DBA
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Role Responsibilities
Design and build Sybase and SQLServer T-SQL procedures, tables, views, and report queries
Tune SQLs and Stored Procedures in Sybase and SQL Server
Develop appropriate database design documentation in line with PB's / PWM's SDLC framework
Address data quality issues; work with business partners to build business understanding of data issues.
Support day to day production inquiries and questions from other technology groups.
Migrate databases across various database platforms
Design and build Sybase and SQLServer T-SQL procedures, tables, views, and report queries

Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience with concentration in Database Analysis, Design, and Development
3-5 years of experience in SQLServer or/and Sybase T-SQL development
1+ year of experience in batch scheduling tools and perl / unix shell scripting is preferred.
Experience in data migrations and loads across platforms such as Oracle, Sybase, and SQLServer.
Proven experience in translating data requirements to database design specifications
Strong Sybase or SQLServer database performance tuning skills
Financial Industry background is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and communication skill
