Job Title: Sr. SAP ABAP & EDI Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Understanding business requirements and developing ABAP programs as per the functional requirements from the customer.
Setting up ALE between two SAP systems and mapping the idocs to initiate flow of document between the systems.
Setting up EDI communication with external vendors and customers using SAP and VAN.
Verify EDI processes are functioning as required.
Assist with IT projects as necessary. Work with other IT staff members to assist in the testing at all levels and implementation of projects.
Configure trading partner setups with EDI service providers and within SAP
Creating EDI mapping specifications based on customer/trading partner requirements process needs using SAP PI.
Experience of working with Seeburger BIC tool.

SKILL SETS REQUIRED:
5 years of experience in SAP ABAP modules
Good understanding and hands on experience of EDI/ALE and Idocs in SAP.
Good knowledge and hands on experience of SAP PI (mapping and configuration)
Knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI standards, SAP PI data mapping techniques, and XML standards.
Experience in EDI transactions 810, 850, 856, 947, 846, 943, 944
Expertise in troubleshooting/re-processing SAP IDOC failures
Possess strong integration understanding of the SAP modules (SD,MM)
Excellent customer service skills in a corporate office environment. Attention to detail is critical.
Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently
