Job Title : Unix Admin
Location : Schenectady, NY
Duration : 24+ Months Contract
Skills Required:
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience installing, configuring, and administrating IBM/AIX systems.
Minimum of 48 months of recent experience installing, implement, and support the IBM Power systems Virtual Input/Output (VIO) Servers using the Advanced Power Virtualization (APV) features including the use of NPIV and Partition Mobility.
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting SAN and NAS environments.
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience administering enterprise backup solutions such as EMC Avamar, Tivoli Storage Manager, Acronis, and/or VERITAS NetBackup.
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience with Korn shell and scripted systems utilities.
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience installing, configuring, and administering UNIX utilities such as NIS, NFS, Samba, SSH, SUDO, VDump, Tar, Ignite, Sysback, C, COBOL.
Minimum of 60 months of recent experience with system performance monitoring/analysis and information system auditing.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
