OpenText/LiveLink Developer

 

The key job responsibilities include the following:

·   ·    Responsible for maintaining, enhancing, developing and supporting applications and technology solutions which have been deployed in the U.S.

·   ·    Responsible for ensuring that all application development efforts meet and or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, time, and adhere to all defined and agreed-upon standards.

·   ·    Become intimately familiar with all assigned application and technology functionality.

·   ·    Become intimately familiar with all development tools, testing tools, methodologies, and processes.

·   ·    Ensure successful development and application support strategy is implemented.

·   ·    Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.

·   ·    Demonstrate a working understanding of both quality assurance and software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share that knowledge with peers and project team members.

·   ·    Demonstrate a strong working understanding of industry best standards in software development and version controlling.

·   ·    Ensure quality and low bug rates of codes released into production.

Key skills required:

·   ·    Strong in OpenText Livelink programming and troubleshooting using proprietary language on versions 9.x/10.x

·   ·    Strong in SQL Server 2005/2008

·   ·    Experience in performance engineering by identifying performance bottlenecks and providing solutions

·   ·    Demonstrate good abilities in understanding APIs available in Livelink for customization and internal controls

·   ·    Extensive understanding and working experience of all features , their limitations, their customization, and troubleshooting

·   ·    Strong analytical skills with ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise, guiding other team members

·   ·    Be responsible for end to end delivery of solutions including requirement elaboration, design, development and testing with keen eye for detail and technical risks

·   ·    Work with OpenText support and any other vendor teams in order to manage to results

·   ·    Connected with OpenText developer community and leverage the network

·   ·    Desirable : Good knowledge of OOPS concepts and exposure to programming in .NET

·   ·    Desirable : Experience in Livelink migration and up gradation from 9.x to 10.x
